About Author: Chef Soju Philip is The Executive Chef of Ramada resorts Kochi, Kerala-a part of Wyndham hotels worldwide. A proud product of Srinivas College of hotel management, Mangalore, he has started his career with The Oberoi Hotel, Bangalore as a kitchen trainee in late nineties. His twenty years tenure in India and United States includes Royal Caribbean Celebrity cruises, Ramada worldwide, Best Western, The Oberoi hotels, Taj group of hotels, Mahindra holidays and resorts and JHM Interstate Thomas hotels and resorts, Kerala etc. Also he served as Faculty to various colleges.

A native to the village of Kadampanad near Adoor in Pathanamthitta district of Kerala, he has kept a passion of cooking from his childhood. He is a popular face in Kerala culinary field, a frequent column writer to many magazines and dailies and had several TV shows in CNBC, NDTV and almost all the channels in Malayalam.
