Great entertaining recipes
A range of recipes that are simply explained and very, very tasty. A number of the recipes include secondary dishes or accompaniments, such as the sautéed potatoes mentioned as an aside with the chicken fricassee, which on their own, would still make this book worth reading.
This little book provides a great introduction to French Classic cooking that is easily achieved in a normal kitchen, and provides techniques that can be easily applied. All the recipes I have tried so far have been enjoyable to cook and even nicer to eat.
